- Bill has been in the housing business as a dealer, builder
and developer at the same location in Shippensburg since 1971. He grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland and spent
several years with an international airline before changing careers to the manufactured housing business. During 30
years as a dealer, Bill developed several residential communities including Mt. Rock Manor, the 138 space manufactured home
community located next to Schaff’s Shippensburg Home Center. His dealership merged with Schaff’s in 2001,
and Bill continues to serve as manager of the Shippensburg Home Center. Franklin County has been his home for
the past 35 years.
Bill is a retired Air Force officer, having served 30 years with the Air National Guard as a navigator and is a veteran of both Vietnam and Desert Storm. He is also a commercial
pilot and flight instructor.
- Originally from
Gettysburg, PA, Eric grew up in the housing
business. His father was a builder of
modular and factory built housing,
and Eric began his career in the service
department of his father’s company.
After receiving a degree from Penn State
University, he joined the Schaff’s
team in 2002 and is now the Sales Manager
of the Fayetteville location and the corporate
Vice President of Sales. Eric is married
and enjoys “attempting” to
play golf, along with scuba diving with
his wife.
- Dan Knode was a realtor for 18
years, marketing residential properties.
This valuable experience led him to become
sales manager at the Marion Home Center,
where he has now been in the factory built
housing industry for over four years.
He has also completed courses by Pennwest
Homes and Champion Home Builders and attends
various home shows annually.

Your new home will be enrolled in a Ten Year "Limited Structural Warranty.” Either through
the "Residential Warranty Corporation" (for modular homes)
or "Manufactured Housing Warranty Corporation" (for manufactured homes), our warranty gives you extended coverage of
the structural components of your home.
Please Note: Our competition may sell a product where the manufacturer enrolls your home in one of these programs. Unless
the retailer also enrolls your home, your home will not be covered for any defect that may arise from a lack of professional
installation. You should receive two separate enrollment booklets from your builder, and this is an automatic process at Schaff’s.
Schaff’s Home Center guides you throughout the entire process and offers many helpful resources:
1. Sales Team. Schaff’s Home Center sales team is here to help choose the home design right
for you and assist you throughout the construction of your new home.
2. Turn-key Package. With on-site financing, our most popular option is the Turn-key Package.
This includes on-site work and allows you to finance your home and lot together, saving you both time and money.
3. Location Inspection: We can also help locate a building lot or evaluate your current home site
at no additional cost! Our site coordinators will assess your land and are happy to meet with your general contractor
to discuss the details.
